We have a NEW Membership Manager!

Gabriela brings with her 20 years of administrative experience, extensive knowledge of administrative operations, and a background in arts and community engagement.

Previously, Gabriela served as the Administrative Analyst for the Prison Arts Collective, a distinguished research project based at San Diego State University. In this role, she learned about the challenges programming providers face and the critical role of community and advocacy efforts in overcoming them. She played a key part in supporting the organization’s mission to bring the transformative power of art to individuals experiencing incarceration. Her responsibilities included managing budgets and overseeing day-to-day operations, demonstrating her adeptness in both financial oversight and organizational efficiency.

Her career has spanned various roles, including sales, project management, event coordination, and operations. This diverse experience has equipped her with a comprehensive skill set that she is excited to implement in her new role.

In addition, Gabriela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Northridge, and is an active member of her community, where she hosts regular crafting club meetups.
